Troy Fahser is the Clinical Director of Physicians Immediate Care. His medical and management experience began as an Emergency Medical Technician in 1990-1992. There he worked as the director of operations and was their representative at the EOC of St Lucie County.
While furthering his education Troy took a position as an ER technician in 1992 at the St Lucie Medical Center. Immediately, he began working towards a degree in nursing, gaining extensive experience in the field of Emergency Medicine.
In 2002 Troy completed his degree. He continued to work in the Emergency Room as a Registered Nurse with certifications such as CPR, ACLS, PALS, Critical Care, Breath Alcohol Testing and Urine Drug Screen Collections Certified. Being ambitious he also worked for a staffing agency as an RN in other Emergency Departments at the same time.
In 2003 he was offered and accepted a position as a Registered Nurse at Physicians Immediate Care. He began to work for Dr. Palestrant February 26, 2003, and remained on staff as a per diem nurse in the Emergency Rooms as well.
In April 2007 he resigned from all Emergency Room work and was promoted to the position of Clinical Director at Physicians Immediate Care. His position has a wide range of responsibilities to include; patient care, patient safety, the development and oversight of the clinical protocols, purchasing of clinical supplies, ordering of medication and management of the dispensing pharmacy at five location, hiring and training the clinical staff, oversight and upgrades within the electronic medical record that includes IT involvement and day to day administrative responsibilities. He always is willing to take on new responsibilities and continues to work with Dr. Palestrant and the staff at Physicians Immediate Care.
