Physicians Immediate Care is always happy to sponsor local area events but when one of our long-time Medical Assistants, Cara Velez went to our COO asking for a donation for her church who was hosting Night To Shine, we had not heard of the event. After doing some research we were thrilled at the opportunity to help with such a worthwhile event and will definitely continue to donate every year.

On Saturday, October 24, Physicians Immediate Care participated in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk at Martin Memorial Park in Stuart.  Collectively, the 10 members of the Physicians Immediate Care team walked 30 miles and raised money for the cause.

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk


Oct 18 at Memorial Park, Stuart, FL Nineteen staff members and their families joined together at the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk that took place on October 18 at Memorial Park in Stuart, Florida. A pie throwing contest was held to raise additional funds, with employees voting by depositing money into canisters each representing a staff member or group, to choose who would be the recipient of the pie toss. Dr. Palestrant received the top bid. More than $1,200 was donated to the American Cancer Society due to their fundraising fun.
